SALEM, Va.- The Clarke County Eagles Girls Soccer teams magical run came to a crashing halt on Saturday as the Eagles fell to the Glenvar Highlanders 1-0, after being tied at the end of all overtime periods the scoreless game moved to penalty kicks that gave Glenvar the Cup via a 4-3 shootout victory.
Clarke County Sports was on hand and filmed the entire game and medal ceremony after the game.
The loss ended a run that included their 4th State Championship last year and their chance to win a fifth title.
