Eagles defeat Falcons to move on in Region B Softball

BERRYVILLE, Va.- The Clarke County Eagle softball team relied on a late rally to defeat the Central Falcons 2-1 in a Region B Quarterfinal matchup at Charles O. Grubbs Field. Abby Peace pitched a 4 hit one run victory, that was capped off by a Haley Farmer single that scored Anna Hornbaker from first base.

The Eagles will travel to Page County on Wednesday for semi final action against the Panthers.

Woodgrove State Champion Ring Ceremony

PURCELLVILLE- The 2012 Woodgrove girls soccer and softball teams were honored at the half of the Wolverines football game against Potomac Falls. Both teams won the State Championship in their respective sport, and were presented their championship rings prior to being introduced.
