Eagles complete perfect season, roll into playoffs as Bull Run Champions

BERRYVILLE,Va.- The Clarke County Eagles completed their regular season Friday night with a commanding 57-15 victory over William Monroe to capture the Bull Run District. The win completes a perfect regular season and gives the Eagles momentum going into the 16 team VHSL AA East playoffs.

Senior QB Sean McDonald rushed for 4 touchdowns and passed for 2. McDonald scored on runs of 14, 2, 1, and 1 and completed touchdown passes of 20 yards to Justin Dulaney and 52 yards to Matt Dang. Hunter Rogers scored on a 4 yard touchdown run and Mackie Martin went in from 10 yards out.

The Eagles will host the Nandua Warriors (7-3) at Wilbur M. Feltner Stadium in Berryville on Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7:00PM in the first round of the 16 team playoff.
