Strasburg Dominates Matchup with Clarke County 38-12 in Bull Run District Matchup

STRASBURG, Va.- The Clarke County Eagles (6-2, 1-2) saw their chance to host a first round VHSL 2A Region B football playoff game washed out on a rain soaked Glenn Proctor Field, when the Strasburg Rams (7-1, 3-0) scored on 6 out of 6 drives with 5 touchdowns and a field goal knocking the Eagles down 38-12.

Eagles defeat Page County 54-0 for Homecoming 2023

BERRYVILLE, Va.-  The Clarke County Eagles defeat the Page County Panthers 54-0 at the Felt for Homecoming 2023. The Eagles got rushing touchdowns from Carson Rutherford, Wyatt TR Palmer, Tanner Sipe, Moses Day, Will Booker, Wilson Taylor, and Jason Poole along with a punt returned for a TD by Landon Roper. Wesley Beiler hit 6 pat's, had a touchback and made an interception deep in Eagle territory to secure the shut out. The Win moves the eagles to 6-1. They travel next Friday to Glenn Proctor Field at Rams Stadium to face their biggest rival, the Strasburg Rams.  Check back for more game and Homecoming coverage.

Eagles fall to Falcons 20-7 in Bull Run District Opener. Clarke County Sports Game of the Week Post Game Show

 BERRYVILLE, Va.- The Clarke County Eagles 5 game win streak came to an end Friday night at Wilbur M. Feltner Stadium as Distict Rival Central remained unbeaten with a 20-7 victory over the Eagles in nothing more than straight out smash mouth Football.  Will Booker had the lone score for the Eagles racing around the right end and going down the sidelines for the score.   Check back for more coverage.

Clarke County Sports Game of the Week Clarke County 21 Catoctin, MD 14

THURMONT, Md.- The Clarke County Eagles defeated the Catoctin Cougars 21-14 at Cougar Stadium last Friday night. The win moves the Eagles to 5-0. Clarke County returns home on Friday to open their Bull Run District schedule hosting last years Bull Run, Reg B Champions and  State runner up the Central Falcons who are also undefeated.

Eagles travel to Catoctin in Thurmont, MD and come away with a 21-14 win. Clarke County Sports Game of the Week Post Game Show

THURMONT, Md.- The Clarke County Eagles travelled to the Old Line State to face the Catoctin Cougars in Interstate High School Football.  Will Booker scored twice and one two point conversion, and Wilson Taylor added another score.

Eagles tame Wildcats 40-7 Clarke County Sports Game of the Week

 BERRYVILLE, Va.- The Clarke County Eagles moved to 4-0 with a non Bull Run District game, with a 40-7 victory over the Warren County Wildcats at Wilbur M. Feltner Stadium on CCYFL Youth Night.

The Eagles have a bye before travelling to Maryland to play Catoctin.

Game of the Week Maryville College 27 Shenandoah University 20 Game Highlights

WINCHESTER, Va.- The Maryville Scots defeated the Shenandoah Hornets 27-20 in a non conference game played at Glo Fiber Field at Shentel Stadium on the campus of Shenandoah University. 

The loss dropped the Hornets to 1-1 after a decisive victory over Methodist two weeks ago. 

Keyshawn Wilder, a senior defensive back (#5) had a monster game with several tackles, 2 interceptions, a punt block that never hit the ground that he returned for a touchdown. Wilder, a senior from Baltimore played his high school ball at Randallstown.

Earlier this week Wilder was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Defensive player of the week.

Clarke State Champion Girls Basketball team receive their Championship Rings

BERRYVILLE, Va.- The Clarke County High School 2023 State Championship Girls Basketball team received their State Champion Rings at halftime of the Clarke County vs Warren County Football game. 

Clarke County Sports was on hand to capture the ceremony.

Eagles Tame Wildcats 40-7 and move to 4-0 (Clarke County Sports Postgame Show)

BERRYVILLE, Va-  The Clarke County Eagles moved to 4-0 with a 40-7 over the neighboring Warren County Wildcats at Wilbur M. Feltner Stadium. For the second week in a row the Eagles put 40 points on the board and held their opponent to 7.

The Eagles Will Booker rushed for 3 touchdowns, Tanner Sipe for 3 and Wyatt Palmer went in once.

Warren County scored in the fourth quarter after the Eagles starters had left the field for the night.

Eagles knock out Buffalo Gap 40-7, move to 3-0 (Post Game Show)

SWOOPE, Va.- The Clarke County Eagles took their show on the road and won their third in a row with a 40-7 win over the Buffalo Gap Bison at Bison Field in Swoope. 

The Eagles got rushing touchdowns from Wyatt Palmer (2), Tanner Sipe, Will Booker, and Moses Day. Alofi Sake scored on a fumble recovery for the Eagles defense, who basically pitched a shutout as Buffalo Gap scored their only touchdown on an interception return, just before the end of the first half.

Clarke Co 34 King William 6 Clarke County Sports Post Game Show

BERRYVILLE, Va.- The Clarke County Eagles ran their record to 2-0 with big 34 to 6 win over the King William Cavaliers at the Felt, Wilbur M. Feltner Stadium in Berryville, VA.

The Eagles got touchdowns from Wyatt "T.R" Palmer, Tanner Sipe, Carson Rutherford and Will Booker went in twice. The Cavaliers scored midway through the fourth quarter to quell an Eagle shutout.

Scoring highlights from VHSL 2A Girls Soccer Championship

 SALEM, Va.- The Clarke County Eagles Girls Soccer team completed a perfect 24-0 season with a 7-0 victory over Central Wise in the VHSL 2A High School Girls Soccer Championship played June 10, 2023 at Roanoke College in Salem, VA.  The Eagles outscored opponents this season 181-4.

Moe Murphy of Clarke County Sports was at the game and captured the action.

Eagles ladies capture 2023 VHSL 2A State Championship finish undefeated

 SALEM, Va.- The Clarke County Eagles girls soccer team completed a perfect season with a 7-0 win over Central Wise in the VHSL 2A Girls State Championship soccer game. Jr Kelsey Elrod, scored four goals including the game winner.  More video,  photos and story coming soon.
