RICHMOND, Va.- The Washington Redskins held their annual Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday at Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center. 4,250 fans packed the grounds for a great day of entertainment.

Along with a full contact practice the fans were treated to performances by the Redskins Cheerleaders , the Redskins Marching Band and other local groups. Several vendors were on hand to provide a wide variety of treats to the fans.

At the end of practice each member of the team approached the fans with an official NFL football and gave them out randomly. The players spent about 30 minutes signing autographs and posing for pictures with the Redskins faithful.

"I can't even explain it," Junior Galette said when asked about the day. "With the fans out here cheering my name and the people wearing my jersey, it means so much to me. I just want to give these fans and this organization all I have when I get out there on the field.
