Hornets open season with big win over Gallaudet

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah Hornets opened their 2015 season on Saturday at Shentel Stadium with a convincing 51-6 victory over the Gallaudet Bison.

The Hornets got a strong showing from quarterback Hayden Bauserman. The  former Central Falcon  threw for 142 yards going 13 of 23 with one interception and two touchdowns. Bauserman completed touchdowns to Miles Green (13 yards) and Leonard Scott ( 26 yards).

Hornet running back Cedric Delaney led all rushers with 95 yards on 10 carries including the games first score a 4 yard touchdown run.

Hornet backup QB Travis Barton Jr. was 4 for 4 passing for 24 yards and 2 touchdown passes of  7 yards to Delaun Richardson and 5 yards to Garrett Rohrbaugh.
