Josh White selected ODAC defensive player of the week

FOREST, Va. - Freshman Josh White has been named ODAC defensive Player of the Week in selections announced Sunday by the league office.

White picked off a pair of passes in the fourth quarter Saturday night in the Hornets 45-20 non-league victory over former USA South Conference rival Ferrum College.
Both INTs, the first of White's career, set up SU touchdowns.
White also had one solo and two assisted tackles.
Shenandoah is off this week and returns to action in its ODAC opener at Bridgewater on October 4.
That game with the Eagles is set for a 7 p.m. start.

White's two interceptions can be viewed on the Clarke County Sports Game of the Week.
