LEESBURG-Loudoun County High School could not have envisioned a better start to its
Region II Division 4 semifinal game against neighborhood rival Tuscarora Nov. 16
in Leesburg.
Seeking to atone for consecutive regular-season losses to the third-year
Huskies, the Raiders scored on their first three possessions to build a 20-0
lead less than 11 minutes into play.
Tuscarora battled back valiantly to pull within a score on two occasions, but
County had an answer each time on its way to a 30-21 victory.
