Richmond, Va.- Several questions loom for the team as they enter another season.
The biggest concern is the absence of All World tackle Trent Williams.

The Redskins put Williams on the Reserve/Did Not Report list.

"No, I haven't no", was head coach Jay Gruden's answer when asked if he had talked to Trent.

Saturday was Military Appreciation Day sponsered by Geico.

The players and coaches all feel honored to be able to give back to our armed forces.

"Yeah, it’s a great day, man," Gruden said. "It’s great to have these guys out here. You know, anytime we can support our troops, have them come out here and get a chance to meet them and shake their hand, it’s great for us. Hopefully they get excited to meet us, but we’re definitely excited to meet them. It’s a privilege."

Running back Derrius Guice, who missed all of last season is expected to show his talent as a battle for the running back position emerges between Adrian Peterson, Samjae Perine, Chris Thompson, Byron Marshall, and Craig Reynolds.

We’re going to continue to build on Derrius’ reps, for sure," Gruden said. "We just don’t want to give him 50 reps on the second day back from his injury, so we’re going to continue to build up his rep count and while he’s doing that, we get Samaje more looks, Craig Reynolds some more looks, you know, Byron Marshall some more looks and it’s a benefit for everybody."

The team will continue training camp through August 11 with several special days left, including Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, August 3, Sunday, August 4 is Social Media Day, and Youth football day & Gatorade Junior Training camp.
