Wallace receives offer, impresses Coaches in North Carolina

BLUEMONT, Va.-  Clarke County Eagle senior Bryan Wallace is making a major impact on college coaches and scouts. Clarke County Football coach Chris Parker verified that Wallace attended Brad Lambert's Elite Prospect Football camp this past weekend at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte. Soon after the camp, a recruiting coordinator from the  UNCC 49ers contacted Clarke Athletic Director Casey Childs to indicate the school was interested in offering Wallace a football scholarship.

The 49ers play in the FBS Conference USA and have such teams as Kansas State, Marshall, Florida Atlantic, and Eastern Michigan on this years schedule.

Two nearby players from Stone Bridge, (Ashburn) are on the roster. Redshirt junior offensive lineman Nate Davis, and redshirt freshman quarterback Joe Thompson, son of the Bulldogs head coach Mickey Thompson.

Childs also verified that he was contacted today by the University of Tennessee associate head football coach Brady Hoke (Defensive line) expressing interest in Wallace and inviting him to the Tennessee Elite High School camp this weekend in Knoxville.

"The University of Tennessee staff were present at the UNCC camp and invited Bryan down this weekend."Parker said, "The future is bright for this young man."

Among the many honors for Wallace are the Winchester Star's Male Athlete of the Year in 2015, Bull Run District Defensive Player of the Year, VHSL 2A First team DL 2016, VHSCA 2A First Team DL 2015, 2016 to name a few.

Wallace is also a 3 time VHSL State Wrestling Champion and placed in last years elite Beast of the East Tournament.
