Eagles look back on historical season at Banquet

The Clarke County Eagles held their annual football banquet recently and were able to reflect on the schools first trip to the VHSL State Championship game.

"It was an honor to coach this great group of young men. They made school history and made our school and community very proud." Coach Chris Parker said.

Matt Dang won the Golden Helmet (MVP) award and Michael Fields was given the Leading Tackler Award. Both seniors helped pace the team to a 13 win season and state 2A runner up finish.

Several Eagles were named to the VHSL 2A All State team, the VHSCA 2A All State team and the Virginia Preps All 2A State team.
