BLUEMONT, Va.- Clarke County Sports Publisher/CEO Moe Murphy has announced the expansion of the popular Clarke County Sports Football Game of the Week to include basketball for the 2014-15 season. Plans are in the works to include both boy's and girl's high school basketball with the possibility of some local college coverage as well.
Clarke County Sports once again teams up with sister company Shenandoah Tele-Productions based in Bluemont, VA. S.T.P. will handle the filming and post production of the video production, as they have this season in the Football Game of the Week, taking over for Big City Productions from Winchester.
"The popularity of our football series and the amount of views these videos have recorded prompted us to consider expanding the series to basketball for the upcoming season." Murphy said, "We are very excited about the upcoming season, as it is a challenge for us to balance basketball with our statewide wrestling coverage we have become known for over the last several seasons."
Check back at Clarke County Sports for more information on the series as the season draws near.
