Eagles fall to Raiders, complete historical season

SALEM, Va.- The Clarke County Eagles fell to the Appomattox Raiders 42-6 in the VHSL 2A State Football Championship at Salem Stadium, in Salem VA.

The Eagles completed their best season in the history of the school finishing 13-2. After losing to Millbrook 20-14 in week two the Eagles ran off a 12 game win streak including 4 playoff wins that included two shutouts.

The community rallied behind the team and gave them a rousing sendoff before they left for Salem.
