Eagles one game away from perfect regular season

BLUEMONT, Va- The Clarke County Eagles moved one game closer to a perfect regular season with a 54-0 win over the George Mason Mustangs on Halloween night at Moore Cadillac Stadium in Falls Church. The win moves the Eagles to 9-0 on the season and 6-0 in the Bull Run District.

Running back Hunter Rogers went over the 1,000 yard mark rushing for the Eagles.

The win sets up a scenario where the Eagles can outright win the District with a victory or tie this week over William Monroe. Should Monroe win, the Eagles will grab a share of the District title with Monroe. William Monroe has an overall record of 6-3 and 5-1 in the district with their only district loss so far coming at the hands of Strasburg.
The Eagles have scored 400 points and yielded only 76. Averaging 44 points per game and 8 points allowed per game. The Dragons have scored 251 and given up 141 for 28 points scored and 16 allowed.

The game is this Friday at 7:30PM at William Monroe High School, 254 Monroe Dr.,
Standardsville, VA 22973
