Regular readers of my blog posts might have taken note of how often I speak about the intensity of our practice and how well our coaches have prepared us for the upcoming contest.
Well, even though we had a bye week this past week, nothing has changed. We have been at work for two weeks and Saturday night at Bridgewater is our payoff.
We will earn a great win against a strong opponent and it will be an exciting game. I don't think there is anything wrong with being confident that we will come out victorious in the end; we need to remain humble as well and not take Bridgewater lightly.
Saturday is our first conference game of the season. We were picked sixth in the conference pre-season poll, but the sixth spot is not the place we will remain. We never will become comfortable where we were chosen to finish or where we are now.
We are striving to be the best team in the ODAC and this is a goal that we will soon reach. Come support the Hornets at Bridgewater this Saturday night, you will not be disappointed.
Go Hornets!

Ed. Note: Approximately two hours after Q submitted his blog, he and his teammates found out that they would be wearing a new, white alternate helmet tomorrow night against the Eagles. Suffice it to say, the Hornets were beyond excited.
